Chart Recorder
A chart recorder draws a continuous line of temperature, hour after hour, on a paper chart or a digital screen. One look tells your team exactly how the cold room or blood bank behaved through the day and night and gives inspectors a record they trust.

- Frequently Asked Questions
Which chart recorder is right for my facility?
Choose a circular chart recorder if your SOPs or inspectors require a signed paper record for a single cold room or blood bank refrigerator. Choose a paperless chart recorder if you need to monitor several points, want digital reports, or want to avoid the ongoing cost of charts and pens.
Will it alert me if the temperature goes out of range?
Yes. Models with alarm options let you set high and low limits, and they show an alarm when those limits are crossed. Some models can also switch an external hooter or alarm through a relay output.
Can I download or print the records?
Yes. On a circular chart recorder, the completed paper chart itself is your record. On a paperless chart recorder, you can download the data to a USB pen drive as PDF charts or CSV files for printing, emailing or record-keeping.
Is a chart recorder useful for audits and inspections?
Yes. A continuous chart is much more reliable than a hand-filled temperature register. It shows inspectors and auditors that your storage stayed within the safe range at all times, and it makes any problem easy to spot and explain.
